The late Christopher Joll was an expert speaker for Noble Caledonia, the world's leading small-ship cruising company. He also spoke about military and historical topics on Rest Less Events, an online platform for professional public speakers that hosts online talks and events.

He also spoke on the military and historical topics covered in his published works at venues such as institutions, museums, clubs and societies. One of his talks was described by one of London’s leading private clubs as ‘a resounding success and certainly enjoyed by all the attendees.’  

Joll also worked as a broadcast commentator for Telegraph Media. Here you can listen to him commentating on the 2022 Trooping the Colour, a broadcast that received 1.6 million views, and his commentary of the State Funeral of Her Majesty the late Queen Elizabeth, which attracted 1.8 million views.

In 2019, Joll also wrote, narrated and directed a series of five films, collectively entitled ‘Thinking Outside the Box’ for the Museum Prize Trust in association with Arts Council England, the Association for Cultural Enterprises and Google Arts and Culture, which you can view below or on YouTube.
